We have four Alpacca’s at The Stables Farm
Nadia is White and self nominated herself as the boss of the herd
Emerson is Light brown and is the only male in the herd
Temperance is the larger dark brown princess
Laylani is the smaller dark brown
Alpacus hum to communicate. The gentle humming sound to expresses curiosity, contentment, concern, or to communicate with their young.
There are two types of alpacas. The fluffy, teddy-bear-looking Huacaya alpaca makes up most of the world's population, while the rarer Suri alpaca has long, silky locks that hang down. Our resident alpacas are of the Huacaya breed.
